All teachers can create an account and use Nextgen Classroom at no cost.

As a teacher, you can create exercises, assignments, and activities and distribute them to students without the students needing to log in or have an account. Students’ results are not saved. Read more here https://nextgenclassroom.se/anvand-nextgen-kostnadsfritt

When do students need a license?

If students are to have their own accounts in Nextgen Classroom, student licenses are required.

With student accounts, students get access to their own workspace, and the teacher can follow each student’s work over time. Results, submissions, and completed activities are saved and collected in one place, making it possible to track progression and get a comprehensive overview of students’ development.

With student accounts, the teacher can:

• see results from completed exercises and assignments
• collect submissions and student responses in one place
• follow students’ progress over time
• assign tasks directly to teaching groups
• get an overview of what students have worked on and completed
• use features that require individual student accounts

Some features are only available to students with their own accounts, for example:

• Talk with AI
• 'Writing assignments with AI feedback

Our license types

We offer different license models depending on the needs of the organization.

It is possible to purchase our licenses through Skolon.

Nextgen Classroom comes in two license levels: Basic and Premium. Licenses can be purchased for individual students, classes, schools, or entire municipalities and regions.

Basic

Provides access to the platform’s core functions for digital language learning:

• Vocabulary exercises
• Dictation
• Fill-in-the-blank exercises
• Exit tickets
• Reading and listening comprehension exercises
• Video submissions

Premium

Includes all features in Basic, plus:

• Talk with AI
• AI chatbots
• Writing assignments with AI feedback
